Athlete Performance Program Overview

Long Term Athlete Development

 Key goals of LTAD are to: 

  •  Reduce likelihood of injury caused from overuse
  •  Reduce likelihood of injury caused from muscle imbalances due to    early specialization
  • Increase performance & resilience within your sport

We accomplish this by: 

  • Teaching crossover skills (speed, agility, change of direction) across all movement patterns 
  • Teaching proper resistance training techniques 
  • Encourage athlete (skill level) specific, age-appropriate exercises and weights 
  • Introduce Mobility exercises and proper warm-ups/cooldowns & stretching  

Standard Training Day Example

Dynamic Warmup / Injury Prevention
